Natalia De León Hernández grew up in Margarita Island.

She is an architect from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Plastic Arts of the Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela.

Her experimental practice in between art, science and design, focuses on technology and Architectural Performances through active generators and adaptive agents, exploring morphologies as biological concepts, where the line between humans, machines, algorithms and codes begin to blurred.

Using mathematical operations, she explores the infinite and in turn materializes genes and codes for their ability to adapt, mutate and survive.

Whether coding or fabricating, her work seeks to intensify aesthetics towards new thresholds that unleash the unknown or yet to be discovered.

She pursues advanced studies in the field of technology and design at ContrlMAD - Madrid; MedioDesign - Barcelona; AA-Visiting School - Aarhus University; Constrution Bionics Summer School - TU Dresden; and at the École des Arts Decoratifs - Paris-Malaquais working alongside WOMA: La Fabrique de Quartier.

Currently resides in Berlin where she has supported lectures at the Berlin Open LAB - Research LAB, and reviewing 3D Printed Mars Habitat final projects of BA Architecture students at the Berlin International University of Applied Science.

She continues continues to explore codes and multidisciplinary practices.
